Microsoft’s 3D builder

Is a nifty tool. We’ve used a few tools, blender, sketchup, and much more and the normal sets to design for 3D. But if you’re in a pinch, you can use the 3D builder to get a quick and dirty model up and works pretty easily. I was able to create a few things within 10 minutes of using the programs, and print them to exact specifications too, which definitely helps when you don’t have to resize or fix anything before slicing. If you have a chance, check it out. And it’s free.

Also; I was able to model a quick and dirty ear clip for Aaron’s hearing aid. That’s an awesome use of 3D printing for exactly what you need for exactly when you need it.
